Why we built World Fertility Center

Patients traveling for fertility treatment need trustworthy information. Most fertility websites are owned by clinics or marketing agencies — not by anyone with a duty to the patient. We exist to fill that gap.

Our mission

To make cross-border fertility treatment safer, more transparent, and more accessible for patients across the Asia-Pacific region. We do this by providing independent, verified information about clinics, treatments, and legal frameworks — and by connecting patients with the clinics best suited to their case.

What "independent" means

We accept no payment for clinic rankings, success rates, or featured placement. Our editorial team writes every treatment guide, country overview, and comparison without input from clinics. Premium clinic partnerships exist to fund the platform — but they do not influence our editorial content or the order in which clinics appear in our directory.

How we verify clinics

Every clinic in our directory has been reviewed against our 27-point verification checklist, which includes:

  • Medical Council registration in operating country
  • Lab accreditation (RTAC, CAP, JCI, or equivalent)
  • Documented live birth success rates
  • Specialist qualifications and training
  • Patient complaint history
  • Insurance and liability coverage

Our team

World Fertility Center is run by a small team of journalists, fertility researchers, and former fertility clinic staff who have seen — from both the patient and provider side — how opaque the industry can be. We are based in Bangkok, Singapore, and Sydney.

Editorial independence

This site is funded by premium clinic partnerships, paid placement of PR articles in our News section, and display advertising. None of these affect our editorial content. We will always tell you when content is sponsored — sponsored content appears in the News & PR section, not in our Knowledge base.
