About the Clinic
Bangkok Fertility Center (BFC) was founded in 2004 as the fertility division of a major Bangkok university hospital. It has grown into one of Southeast Asia's busiest IVF centers, performing over 2,400 cycles per year with a patient mix of approximately 40% Thai, 30% Australian, 15% Middle Eastern, and 15% from other countries. The clinic operates its own genetic testing laboratory in-house, allowing faster turnaround than clinics that send biopsies abroad.
The clinic's medical director, Dr. Somchai Lertprasert, has been performing IVF since 1996 and has trained at Monash IVF in Melbourne. The team includes 8 REI-certified specialists (Thai Board of Reproductive Medicine) and 14 embryologists.
